Paige Emery – Performance Lecture “On Divinatory Ecologies for More-Than-Human Time”

Part lecture, part poetry, part music, this poetics of divination gazes inwards at our relationship with the future to ask how we can cultivate the senses towards more ecologically-conscious futures, and how undoing dominating linear-timescape determinisms can unpredict the future.

Paige will guide a tea ceremony after the talk with herbal tea provided.

The performance lecture will be at the site of Paige’s installation “Water Scrying, Flower Dreaming”& “To Recalibrate with Tree Divination” at the Northeast corner of campus behind the Broad studios, outdoors on the grass and underneath the trees.
