2220 presents two multimedia collaborations involving sound, video and motion capture.

lovelike is a mixed-reality performance by Jenna Caravello with Celia Hollander that uses motion capture, audio software, and video game platforms as a framework for musical collaboration and to explore longing and loneliness.

Maral’s sonic palette incorporates a collage of Iranian Classical & Folk samples and explores genres of experimental electronic production such as noise, punk/post-punk, and dub. Visuals at this performance are by Brenna Murphy.

Jenna Caravello (LA) is an artist working with motion capture, animation, and video game platforms. She makes single-channel, interactive, and performative works that explore loss, computer culture, and the role of narrative in personal and digital memory.

Celia Hollander (LA) is a composer and artist working with audio, performance, installation and text. Her work critically engages ways that audio and the act of listening can shape temporal perception, generate narratives and cultivate social connection. Her discography includes releases on Leaving Records, Recital and Noumenal Loom and she is a resident DJ on Dublab Radio.
